I photographed this butterfly while I visited the butterfly fly farm near Fredericksburg, TX. In 2006, the Wildseed Farm hosted an enclosed butterfly farm and it seemed easier to photograph them in such an area. The area is now opened and there doesn't seem to be many butterflies visiting the flowers there.

Paintings and drawings have always been a part of my life. My art education ended when I graduated from high school despite my art teacher's encouragement; instead I decided to pursue the science field in college. However, I've always painted from time to time. Photographing weddings on the weekends became a part of my life for a few years as well.
